This took place in the church on Sunday 6th October with beautiful floral and vegetable decorations throughout the building. During the service the congregation were invited to bring up their offerings which were then delivered to the Lords Larder in Yeovil. The children from Camel Club lead the congregation with a song and a reading and Rose Hoskins took the service.
Immediately afterwards 60+ people came to the Memorial Hall for a delicious two-course hot lunch. This proved to be a very sociable and enjoyable interlude. The money raised from the collection in church and from the lunch totalled just over £400 and a cheque for this amount has been sent to Christian Aid. Thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to make this a fitting celebration.
