The Christmas Fayre was held on the morning of Saturday 30th November in the Memorial Hall and was extremely well supported by many from the village. The hall had been beautifully decorated and with a colourful display of stalls, many commented on what a convivial and warm atmosphere there was. As always the coffee, teas and mince pies, which were part and parcel of the £1 entrance fee, were popular. The children, too, thoroughly enjoyed the various activities that were on offer for them. We were grateful to everyone who supported the Fayre – stallholders and customers alike – with over £1700 being raised to help towards the upkeep of St Barnabas.
